KÁRMÁN ("we") is a daily estimation game at karman.day, run by [YOUR NAME]. This page explains what the game stores and why. Short version: no ads, no tracking across other sites, and we never sell data.
What stays on your device
Your streak, logbook, passport stamps, settings and the flight in progress are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you sign in (below). Clearing your browser data deletes them.
What we collect without an account
- Anonymous scores. When you finish a daily flight, we receive your points, which questions you got right, and which width you chose for each, tagged with a random ID created in your browser. This powers "higher than X% of pilots". It contains no name, email or IP address.
- Answer reports. If you tap "Report this answer", we receive the question's ID and the same random ID.
- Basic, cookie-free site analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): page views and rough country, with no personal identifiers.
If you buy Unlimited
- Google sign-in. We receive your Google account ID and email address so your purchase works on any device. We don't receive your password or contacts.
- Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We keep a record that your account paid, when, and the Stripe session ID.
- Play log. We record when a paid account starts an Unlimited or archive flight, solely to apply the refund policy.
Unlock links
If you use an unlock link, your browser checks the code with our server from time to time. No personal information is sent.
Who processes data for us
Cloudflare (hosting and database), Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
Keeping and deleting data

Children
KÁRMÁN is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes and contact
